Many of us know CCS for a few of its programs… but few realize just how far their reach extends. What began in 1971 as the Bolton Contact Centre — a crisis line and informal support hub — has grown into one of Caledon’s most vital, innovative, and compassionate community agencies. Since officially becoming Caledon Community Services in 1996, the organization has continued to expand its programs, partnerships, and impact.
Their vision is simple yet powerful: A healthy and engaged community. And their mission reflects that same spirit: Advancing community well‑being by responding creatively to local needs.
From seniors’ programs to employment services, from transportation to health supports, CCS is woven into the fabric of Caledon life — often in ways people don’t even realize. That’s why this presentation is such a treat: we get to hear the real stories behind the work.
