Red Fever
Appropriately on Reconcilliation Day, this movie described pereceptions of indiginous people over many decades. It mentioned the many professional, local and school sports teams with Indian names, the high fashion designs based on native motifs, the incredible sport success of many athletes, especially Jim Thorpe and the terrible effects of residential schools.
Ironically after the movie, we enjoyed a meal at Montanas where a game involving the Atlanta Braves was being broadcast.
